PRESIDENT'S WELCOME
Welcome to the Canberra Region Morris Minor Club. The club was formed in 1980 to encourage and assist in the preservation of original and modified Morris Minors. Anyone who has owned a Morris Minor for any length of time will probably be quite fond of their vehicle. The club was formed by people who love Morris Minors because of their uniqueness, their reliability and their durability. It’s a club for people who want to enjoy their Morris Minors and join others with similar interests. This year, along with many other clubs, the Canberra Region Morris Minor Club is celebrating 60 years of the modern Morris Minor. The first Morris, an MM series, commonly known as a lowlight, came off the production line in Oxford, England, in September 1948. The first Morris Minors were exported to Australia the following year. Our club caters for all Morris Minor owners, for those who want to maintain a vehicle that is as authentic as possible and for those who are interested in modifying a Morris Minor. Our members are able and very willing to provide advice and assistance to people from either group.
