Welcome to the Canberra
Region Morris Minor Club!
The Canberra
Region Morris Minor Club has been a focus for Morris Minor enthusiasts in and
beyond the region for more than 30 years. The Morris Minor is an enduring little
car, and anyone interested in them is assured of a warm welcome at any of our
club gatherings.
The club has any number of members with a thorough knowledge of Morris Minors
with a willingness to help other Morris Minor owners to keep their cars mobile,
and to enjoy them, whether they are standard or modified.
It offers members:
- free
technical support and advice
- regular
outings
- access to
the ACT's Concessional Registration Scheme
- and much
more.

Marques in the Park
2011
A great
day and a great gathering of Morris Minors. Once again the weather smiled
and the annual Marques in the Park display was a beauty.
A great
crowd and a great show of Canberra Region Morris Minor club cars, with
every Morris Minor club body style on show, except for a Traveller and a
lowlight, and that was because the Traveller owner (who is also the
lowlight owner) had a date in Bendigo!
In all,
eleven club Morris Minors turned out flanked by our distinctive banners,
well filling our allocated space in John Knight Park.
Our
cars ranged from the cut down coupe to the almost untouched Series II to a
van and a ute, several standard two and four doors and a converted
convertible.
Thanks
to Bruce and his band of helpers it was a most pleasant day out in the
spring sunshine and thanks to the club members who came along and made it
yet another congenial occasion.
