The Canberra Region Morris Minor Club was formed on 25 May 1980 with an initial membership of 45. Its first newsletter was produced in July of that year and in August the first organised club outing saw a Morris Minor cavalcade head off to Queanbeyan. This was not the biggest journey in the world but the first of many and more adventurous events. The club was incorporated in May 1988.

The Canberra Region Morris Minor Club Inc. is managed by a committee comprising a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and other committee members. Of these other, several key positions are fulfilled; namely: the Public Officer, Newsletter Editor, National Rally co-ordinator, Librarian and Technical Officer.
